1. Not a medical device

UROLUM products are non-medical daily care accessories. They are not medical devices within the meaning of United States federal law, European Union regulation, or any comparable regime. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition.

Our products are not a substitute for a regulated medical device where clinical circumstances require one. They are sold as consumable care supplies for use in daily hygiene and comfort routines.

2. No medical advice

Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Product descriptions are provided to help buyers understand what they are purchasing. Decisions about continence care should be made with a qualified healthcare professional, taking into account the individual circumstances of the person being cared for.

Published wear times, absorbency descriptions, and sizing information reflect our own testing and typical use. Actual results vary with individual anatomy, activity, and care routine.

3. Trademarks and compatibility

PureWick® is a registered trademark of Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD). UROLUM is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to BD.

Where we refer to PureWick® or to any other brand, the reference is nominative: it identifies the collection system our products are designed to connect to. It does not mean that our products are approved, certified, licensed, or produced by BD, and it does not mean our products are equivalent to BD products.

Choice of brand, system, and consumable is entirely the responsibility of the buyer. We make no representation that using our consumables with a third-party collection system will preserve any warranty offered by that third party.

4. Regulatory status and intended market

Our products are supplied as general consumer care articles. Buyers are responsible for determining whether resale, distribution, or use of the products in their jurisdiction requires any licence, registration, or marketing authorisation, and for obtaining it.

Where a buyer intends to resell into a regulated channel — for example as a reimbursed medical supply — the buyer is responsible for establishing the regulatory position of the product in that channel. We supply product only; we do not act as a regulatory agent or authorised representative for any market.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, UROLUM is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of the products or from reliance on information published on this site. Our liability for defective goods is limited to replacement or refund of the affected units, in accordance with our terms of sale.

6. Accuracy of this site

We aim to keep prices, specifications, and availability accurate, but they may change without notice and are not an offer capable of acceptance. The governing figure in any transaction is the one on the proforma invoice we send you, not the one shown here.
