Privacy policy

1. Who we are

UROLUM sells wholesale external catheter consumables. For the purposes of this policy we are the controller of the personal information described below. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What we collect

We only collect what we need to quote and ship an order:

• Enquiry details — company name, your name, work email, ship-to country, product interest, box quantity, and anything you write in the message field.
• Order details — billing and delivery addresses, contact phone number, and the payment reference for your transfer or PayPal payment.
• Technical data — IP address and browser type, recorded by our web server and by analytics, in order to keep the site working and to understand which pages are read.
• Correspondence — emails you send us, kept so we can answer them and refer back.

We do not collect payment card numbers. There is no checkout on this website; payment is arranged by email against a proforma invoice.

3. Why we use it

To prepare and send your quote and proforma invoice; to produce, pack, and ship your order; to answer your questions and handle claims; to keep accounting and tax records; to keep the site secure and prevent form abuse; and to understand in aggregate which pages are useful.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertising networks for retargeting.

4. Cookies and analytics

The site sets no advertising cookies. We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read; Google may set its own cookies for that purpose. You can block cookies in your browser without losing any function of this site, because the site has no login and no cart.

5. Who we share it with

Only where needed to fulfil your order:

• Freight forwarders and carriers — name, address, phone, and contents description, so the goods can be delivered and cleared.
• Our email and hosting providers — who process messages and serve the site on our behalf.
• Our accountant and, where required, tax authorities — order value and invoice records.
• Professional advisers or a court — where we are legally required to disclose, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

6. Where your data is held

Our site is hosted in the United States and our email and business records are held with providers in the United States and the European Union. If you contact us from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in those locations.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become orders are deleted after 24 months. Order, invoice, and shipment records are kept for 7 years to meet accounting and tax obligations. Emails are kept while the commercial relationship is active and for 24 months afterwards.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to certain uses, and to receive it in a portable format. California residents have the right to know what is collected, to request deletion, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy request". We may ask you to verify your identity, and we will respond within 30 days. If we cannot action a request because we must keep the record for tax purposes, we will tell you why.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry and order records is limited to the people who need it to quote and ship. No system is perfect; if a breach affects your information we will notify you as required by applicable law.

10. Children

This is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting existing customers will be notified by email.
